Candidate Identification



As each executive search project is unique, a suitable candidate pool will need to be created at short notice. Gladstone Parry will identify suitable individuals within competitor organisations as well as at companies where transferrable skills may be found. We will produce a detailed list of potential candidates in an open and transparent manner sharing market information enabling your recruitment spend to be used as effectively as possible. We will support this list of candidates with impartial advice on their background and likely suitability for your vacancy, highlighting candidates considered to be the best amongst their peer group.

Candidate Approach


Taking the candidate identification process to the next level, As well as identifying potential candidates when required we will make the initial approach to them on your behalf. This can be done entirely confidentially or by sharing our client’s name with potential individuals. We will only share the name with your express permission. Our initial conversation will ascertain the potential candidate’s suitability and interest level.

Candidate Briefing Document


If required, we will work with you to create a Candidate Briefing Document which will be sent to any potential candidates who when approached by us express an interest in your vacancy. The quality of the Candidate Briefing Document is crucial to the success of the recruitment process as it is used to both promote the opportunity and is also used as the template against which candidates will be assessed with regard to relevant experience and competencies required to match the position profile. The Candidate Briefing Document will also provide the potential candidates with enough information for them to further research you as a company and to make an informed decision as to whether they want to be considered further.

Candidate Interview and Advice


If required we will complete a full competency based interview with any candidates gauging them against the necessary experience required and competencies outlined in the Candidate Briefing Document. A full detailed report of each candidate will be supplied as well as an accompanying CV. We can if necessary also attend interviews at client premises and chair/participate in panel interviews if required.

Talent Mapping


Gladstone Parry will work with you to identify individuals at particular companies or in particular functional areas, enabling you as a client to compare thecapabilities of competitors against your own staff prior to any decision on potential approaches being made.

Talent Pipelining


Talent pipelining can be used to build a long-term relationship with a pool of individuals with the necessary talent to meet future vacancies within client organisations. By nurturing a talent pipeline candidates are identified long before a suitable vacancy arises and their knowledge of and interest in the client’s organization enables them to be brought into a recruitment process rapidly. Talent pipelining enables you as our client keep individuals interested in your organization and motivated to join as soon as a suitable vacancy occurs so saving time and reducing recruitment costs.

The business is led by Gareth Parry, a highly experienced executive search professional who has worked at a number of leading executive search companies, including: Korn-Ferry International and Norman Broadbent as well as having led executive recruitment at Centrica plc the FTSE listed energy company.
